Interested in working for Recreational Sports and Wellness?

Before your application process begins, we ask you to attend one of our REC Works Presentations.  REC Works is a 2 hour interactive program that allows us to get to know you and you to get to know us.  You will get a chance to meet the professional staff, current student staff members, and get a feel for the job that you’re interested in applying for.  In addition, it gives us an opportunity to get to know you better than one interview would allow!

Are you the right candidate for a position within Recreational Sports and Wellness?

If you are dedicated to learning cutting edge guest relations skills and being loyal to  mission, you are off to a good start. If you are comfortable wearing a uniform exactly the way we tell you to and all policies, you are getting closer to being the person for the job.

Pick up your application at the Pennington Student Activity Center!

Recreational Sports and Wellness offers a variety of positions that offer “real world” work experience. We believe in your “lifelong marketability” and will support you in the development of the customer service and “people” skills that will enhance your academic knowledge. This website should show the hours of operation on the home page or somewhere easily accessible. The front door of the building doesn’t really help too much either.

Can you bring a friend that doesn’t attend the school?

Yes! The Student Activity Center has a guest pass policy. You will need to call (985) 549-5591 two hours in advance of bringing your guest. Your guest will need a photo ID. Guest passes can be purchased for $10. We hope to see you soon!
